FAQs

Get to know Everest Sport

Sport is where the Everest gets more comfortable for long trips. Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with stop-and-go 92, heated and ventilated front seats , a 10-way power driver seat with memory, a 360-degree camera system 81, power liftgate and Pro Power Onboard 400W power inverter all come standard. Seven seats are included rather than optional. If you’re doing school runs in the week and long drives on the weekend, Sport is the grade that makes both feel easy.

It’s one of the things Sport does best. On top of its spacious cabin, it features Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go 92 which reads the traffic ahead and manages your speed without you touching the pedals, slowing for the car in front, stopping when traffic stops ahead, pulling away when it moves. Heated and ventilated front seats mean the climate sorts itself out. The 10-way power driver seat with memory means you arrive in the same shape you left. Pro Power Onboard 400W power inverter can keep the family’s essentials charged for the whole trip.

The 2.0L turbo diesel is the everyday choice. Efficient, capable and more than enough for most drivers. If you tow regularly or spend a lot of time on long highway runs, the 3.0L V6 is worth it. 600nM makes a real difference once there’s a load on the back or you need to overtake on a long straight.

It reads the traffic ahead and adjusts your speed automatically, slowing for the car in front, stopping when traffic stops, pulling away when it moves. On a long highway run you set your speed and the Everest does all the work. Speed Sign Recognition reads posted speed limits and Lane Centring helps keep you positioned in your lane 92.

Yes, a 360-degree camera system comes standard on the Ford Everest Sport. It gives you a full overhead view when you’re parking or reversing. It’s really useful in tight spaces and even more so when you’re lining up a trailer. It’s not available on Active, so if this matters to you it’s another good reason to choose Sport.
