Is the Ford Everest Active a genuine 4WD?
It is. Everest Active is available in both part-time 4x4 and full-time 4WD depending on engine choice. Both come with a locking rear differential, 800mm water wading depth and steel underbody protection as standard. It’s built for genuine off-road use, not just the look of it.
Does the Ford Everest Active come with 7 seats?
Five seats are standard on the Ford Everest Active. Seven seats are available as an optional extra at additional cost, which adds the third row and third-row air vents. If the third row is important to you, make sure it’s included when you order, or take a look at other Everest models, where seven seats are standard.
What engine options are available on the Ford Everest Active?
The Ford Everest Active is available with a 2.0L turbo diesel producing 125kW and 405Nm, or a 3.0L V6 producing 184kW and 600Nm. Both pair with a 10-speed automatic. For most everyday use the 2.0L does the job well. If heavy towing is a regular part of your week, the V6 is worth the step up.
What is the towing capacity of the Ford Everest Active?
3,500kg braked towing 76 is available on the Ford Everest Active. The same as every other model in the range. A genuine Ford tow pack is required and needs to be ordered as a factory option before manufacture.

Sport is a meaningful step up in day-to-day comfort. It adds Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control 92 with stop-and-go and lane centring 81, heated and ventilated front seats, a 10-way power driver seat with memory, a 360-degree camera system 81, power liftgate and Pro Power Onboard 400W, none of which come with Active. Seven seats are also standard rather than optional.
