Get to know Ranger Tremor

The Ford Ranger Tremor is a purpose-built off-road variant of the Ranger powered by the 3.0L V6 turbo-diesel with full-time 4WD. It features Bilstein position-sensitive dampers, General Grabber AT3 all-terrain tyres, Rock Crawl drive mode 68 with locking rear differentials, Trail Control, Trail Turn Assist 23 and 261mm of ground clearance, more than any standard Ranger except the Raptor.

The Ranger Tremor is fitted with Bilstein position-sensitive dampers as standard. These continuously adjust to the terrain to maintain control and comfort across a range of surfaces and speeds. Bilstein dampers are exclusive to the Tremor within the standard Ranger lineup.

The Ranger Tremor has seven selectable drive modes 23, Normal, Eco, Tow/Haul, Slippery, Mud/Ruts, Sand and Rock Crawl 68. Rock Crawl locks the front and rear differentials for maximum traction on tough technical terrain. Trail Control and Trail Turn Assist are also standard, helping manage your speed and line on tight off-road tracks. Rock Crawl, Trail Control and Trail Turn Assist are exclusive to Tremor and Raptor in the Ranger lineup.

The Ford Ranger Tremor has a ground clearance of 261mm. That’s 27mm more than the Wildtrak, Wolftrak and Platinum, and second only to the Raptor at 272 mm across the Ranger lineup.
