I’m sitting here in the garage, staring at the trophy on the table, and I still don’t think it has fully sunk in yet. I’m shaking a little bit, to be honest. We did it. We are the 2025 Supercars Champions.

When I made my main game debut back in 2013, I was just a kid who wanted to go fast. I dreamed of race wins and maybe, just maybe, conquering Mount Panorama. I’ve been lucky enough to taste the champagne at Bathurst, and I’ve had some incredible years in this sport, but the Championship? That was the mountain that always felt just a little too steep to climb. It’s a grind. And with the new play offs series, it also requires some luck.

To finally stand here, more than a decade later, and say that we are number one - it is the greatest feeling of my professional life.

But this isn't just about me. This is also about my team, Walkinshaw Andretti United. The transformation this team has gone through is nothing short of legendary. Everyone in the garage has poured their blood, sweat, and tears into this season. They gave me a rocket ship. My Optus Mobil 1 Racing Ford Mustang has been an absolute weapon all year.

And that brings me to the badge on the front of the car. Winning this for Ford means everything to me. I know how passionate the Blue Oval fans are. You guys have stuck by us through the tough rounds and the rebuilding years. To bring the Driver’s Championship back to Ford, driving a Mustang, is a massive point of pride for me. I’ve always felt that support from the Ford faithful, and today, I feel like I can finally pay you back for all the cheering, wearing the merch, for the belief.

I love this sport. I love the noise, the battles door-to-door at 250 kilometres per hour, and the absolute adrenaline of putting it all on the line. There is no other racing series on earth like Supercars. It’s gruelling and unforgiving, which makes winning feel that much sweeter.

Congrats also must go to my fellow finalists Broc Feeney, Will Brown and Kai Allen. You fought so hard, and any one of us would have deserved the win.

Thank you to my family, my sponsors, the entire WAU crew, and every single fan who believed this day would come.

We’re the champions. How good is that?
