Is there a recall on my Ford vehicle?
You can check for recalls on your vehicle using the Ford Recall page or the Ford app.
Note: Recall letters are mailed to the vehicle's last known registered owner within 60 days of the recall being issued.
How do I check for recalls on my vehicle?
To see if your vehicle is included in a recall, select the method you are using from the drop-down options below.
Ford Recall Page
- Go to the Recall page.
- Enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or log in to your account.
- Select Go to My Ford.
If your vehicle is involved in a recall, contact your Ford Dealer as soon as possible to schedule an appointment.
The Ford App
- Open the Ford app.
- Tap the Tool icon to go to the Service dashboard.
- Select the Recall tile.
Note: This tile will only appear if there is an active recall on your vehicle.
The Ford app will open the Ford Recall page with information specific to your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). If your vehicle is involved in a recall, contact your Ford Dealer as soon as possible to schedule an appointment.
Does my vehicle need to be towed?
Your recall notification letter will provide details on whether towing is covered. Contact Roadside Assistance to arrange transport to your Ford Dealer.
