What Is the Difference Between a Major and Minor Service?

Regular maintenance is an essential part of keeping your Ford vehicle operating in a safe, economical and environmentally friendly condition.

A major service should be carried out every other service starting from the 2nd year service (mileage dependant on vehicle model).

A minor (or interim) service should be carried out every other service starting from the 1st year service (mileage dependant on vehicle model).

The differences between the two types of service vary from model to model and retail to commercial vehicles.

You can find more about the types of service your vehicle requires and what is involved in each service by refering to the vehicle Owner's Manual or Customer Assistance & Service Guide.
