When will I receive notifications in the Ford app for my vehicle's Oil Life?

Notifications regarding your Oil Life are sent when your vehicle's Oil Life is at certain levels or certain criteria have been met. You will receive a push notification and the Oil Life Level will display on the Vehicle tab.

Oil Life Notifications Types

The following notifications will display regarding your vehicle's Oil Life:

• Time to Plan: This reminder appears one month before the oil needs to be changed.
• Change Oil Soon: This appears when the Oil Life reaches 5%.
• Change Oil Required: This appears when the Oil Life level is at 0%.
• Past Due: This appears 14 days or after 500 miles have passed since the Oil Change Required message first displayed.

The Ford app will also send your Oil Life notifications to your in-app Message Centre.
