This Ford 2nd Car is covered by Ford Standard Roadside Assistance.
You can access this Roadside Assistance program anywhere in Australia, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year on phone 1800 13 FORD.
Please let the operator know that you are driving a car that is part of the Ford 2nd Car program. They will ask for the following information:
-Name
-Registration number of the vehicle
-Precise location of the vehicle
-A brief description of the problem
-A contact telephone number (where possible)
Standard Roadside Assistance can assist you if your vehicle experiences the following:
Flat battery
The Service Provider will jump-start a flat battery or arrange a battery replacement.
Out of fuel
The Service Provider will assist you with the provision of petrol, where available, to enable you to travel to the nearest re-fuelling facility or, alternatively, arrange a tow.
Lockout
The Service Provider will assist where possible in opening your vehicle, or arranging a tow, provided adequate proof of Journey ownership can be shown. Where locksmith services are required, you will be responsible for this cost in full.
Mechanical Breakdown
Where applicable, a Service Patrol Vehicle will be dispatched to assist the mobilisation of your vehicle at the roadside.
Towing
In the event that a vehicle cannot be mobilised at the roadside, that vehicle will be towed to the nearest Ford Dealer (and this may be different to the dealer from where you picked up the Ford 2nd Car).
Taxi
A Taxi service to destination of your choice up to the value of $35 nationwide is available..
