General Warranty Information

Ford Warranty Commencement Date means:

  • In the case of a Vehicle which is a company, dealership, demonstration vehicle, or service loaner, the date on which the Vehicle is first registered by Ford or an Authorised Ford Dealer; or
  • In all other cases, the date on which the Vehicle is delivered to its original owner by the selling Dealer.

The warranty period for all new Ford vehicles collected from 1 May 2018 onwards is 5 years/unlimited kilometres. Any new vehicles picked up prior to 1 May 2018 are covered by the 3-year/100,000 km (whichever comes first). Warranty conditions apply.

Our goods come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Our warranty does not limit and may not exceed your rights under those guarantees.
