What safety items are covered by the warranty?

Safety-related parts that are defective must always be replaced with new components and never repaired. These include seatbelts & airbags.

These items are covered by the Ford Express New Vehicle Warranty within the warranty period. Please refer to our Warranties page for further information.

Important: If alleged that a safety-related part has failed, which potentially places people or property at risk of injury or damage, or renders the vehicle illegal, the vehicle must be left undisturbed and protected from the elements. Contact must immediately be made with the Ford Customer Relationship Centre for advice on what action should be taken.
