What Is the New Vehicle Warranty?

Every new vehicle benefits from a Ford Express New Vehicle Warranty that customers access via Ford Authorised Dealers. This warranty covers any part of the vehicle that requires repair or replacement as a result of a manufacturing defect. The part will be repaired or replaced free of charge by any Ford Authorised Dealer, regardless of any change of vehicle ownership during the warranty period.

The warranty starts on the date of registration for a Dealership demonstrator or Service/Parts loan vehicle. For a non Dealership demonstrator or Service/Parts loan vehicle, the warranty starts on the date the customer took delivery of the vehicle.

The warranty period for all new Ford vehicles collected from 1 May 2018 onwards is 5 years/unlimited kilometre*. Any new vehicles picked up prior to 1 May 2018 are covered by the 3 year/100,000km (whichever comes first) Warranty*. If you have any questions about the timing of your warranty period, please contact your Ford Dealer or contact us on 13 FORD (13 36 73), or for more details regarding these warranties click here.

*Warranty conditions apply. 5 year/unlimited kilometre Ford Express New Vehicles Warranty applies to new, demonstrator and service loaner vehicles delivered from 1 May 2018. Our goods come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Our warranty does not limit and may not exceed your rights under those guarantees.
Warranty period commences on the date of delivery except where the vehicle is a demonstration or service loaner vehicle, in which case it commences on the date on which it was first registered by an Authorised Ford Dealer.
