Do accessories come with a warranty?

Every new Ford already comes with five years of unlimited kilometre coverage - no matter which model drives out of the dealership. That hasn't changed. What's new is what happens next.

Customers who service their vehicle on schedule and exclusively with Ford dealers will now unlock an extra two years of coverage automatically - bringing total protection to seven years, unlimited kilometres*. To keep that extended coverage active, servicing must continue on schedule and exclusively with Ford Dealers through years six and seven as well.

The extended protection isn't limited to the vehicle itself. Genuine Ford Parts, Ford Accessories, and Ford Licensed Accessories are also eligible for coverage of up to seven years, unlimited kilometres, under the same condition - servicing on schedule, exclusively with Ford Dealers.

Eligibility

Vehicles with a Warranty Commencement Date on or after 01/09/2026 are eligible for the extended coverage. For most owners, this is simply your vehicle’s delivery date. Genuine Ford Parts, Ford Accessories, and Ford Licensed Accessories sold and fitted by an authorised Ford Dealer after vehicle delivery are covered by the remainder of the Ford Express New Vehicle Warranty period or the Ford Express Part and Accessories Warranty of 12 months/20,000 kms, whichever is longer.

Genuine Ford Parts, Ford Accessories, and Ford Licensed Accessories sold by an authorised Ford dealer as over-the-counter parts are covered by the Ford Express Part and Accessories Warranty of 12 months/20,000 kms.

Supplier Branded Accessories (SBA) are not manufactured or warranted by Ford. The warranty is provided by the manufacturer of the accessory. Parts or accessories that fall into this category are supplied with details of the warranty within the packaging in which they are supplied. Contact your authorised Ford Dealer for details of the accessory manufacturer's warranty applicable to each SBA.
