How do I check for SYNC updates?

SYNC 1&2

To update your SYNC 1 or 2 system, please log into the Ford owner dashboard account, and follow the SYNC prompts.

If you do not have a Ford owner dashboard account, all you need is your vehicle identification number and some basic details to get you into the system.

You can also contact your local Ford dealership for assistance in updating your SYNC software. 

Note: There may be a cost associated with this service.

SYNC 3

If your vehicle is equipped with SYNC 3, please head on over to our SYNC 3 support page and navigate to the Software Updates section.
