Why are some features no longer available in FordPass®*?
Certain features on FordPass will no longer be available for Ford customers due to the decommissioning of FordPass for AppLink™**. This global decision to decommission AppLink has been made to provide a better, connected app experience for FordPass users in the future and pave the way to design and enable features that are essential for an electrified future for customers.
While the majority of customers affected will be those who have older vehicles (no modem, pre-2018), some feature functionality loss will also be experienced by all customers, including newer ones.
