What is a fuel filter?

Just like you, your vehicle needs fuel to run. But when the fuel filter gets clogged, your engine’s performance can be affected. It’s the automotive equivalent of exercising without having eaten. A new fuel filter helps remove contaminants from the fuel, while still allowing the proper amount to your engine.

Changing Fuel Filters

Because the interval at which you should replace your fuel filter depends on your vehicle model, it's best to refer to your Customer Assistance & Service (CAWS) Guide or Owner's Manual for specific information. If your vehicle is not listed under "Fuel Filter Replacement" in the CAWS guide or Owner's Manual, your vehicle may have a non-serviceable filter.

Visit your local dealership for a replacement fuel filter or if you have any further questions.
