Which vehicles use AdBlue?
Many new diesel vehicles, including the Ford Everest and 2.0L Transit & Transit Customs, now require the use of a diesel exhaust fluid commonly referred to as AdBlue. This fluid is automatically injected into the vehicle’s exhaust system to help reduce emissions of nitrogen oxide. Since the Ford Ranger is a light commercial vehicle, it does not require the use of AdBlue to meet current emissions standards (Euro V).
AdBlue is stored in a small tank and, just like diesel fuel, must be kept topped up by the driver. Further information on AdBlue can be found in your Owner’s Manual.
