Which vehicles use AdBlue?

Many new diesel vehicles, including the Ford Everest and 2.0L Transit & Transit Customs, now require the use of a Diesel Exhaust Fluid commonly referred to as AdBlue. This fluid is automatically injected into the vehicle’s exhaust system to help reduce emissions of nitrogen oxide. Since the Ford Ranger is a Light Commercial Vehicle, it does not require the use of AdBlue to meet current emissions standards (Euro V).

AdBlue is stored in a small tank and, just like diesel fuel, must be kept topped up by the driver. Further information on AdBlue can be found in the Owner’s Manual.

To locate your Owner's Manual in the FordPass App, please go to 'Vehicle Details > Vehicle Support' Section.
