What is a Radio PIN Code?

A radio PIN code is a security feature commonly found on pre-2011 Ford vehicles and is commonly required when power to the audio unit has been disconnected.

Note: New vehicles have advance infotainment systems and do not require a code to be entered where power has been disconnected.

Finding a Radio PIN Code

To find the radio PIN code for your Ford vehicle, please check the Security Code card provided in the same pack as your Owner’s Manual or may appear on other documents from your Ford Dealer.

Recovering a Radio PIN Code 

If you need to obtain a radio PIN code for your vehicle, you will need to visit your local Ford Dealer and provide proof of ownership for your vehicle. There may be a charge associated with this service.
