How do I reset my password for FordPass®*?
If you forgot your password and need to reset it, access the FordPass login screen by logging out (if you are currently logged in) and complete the steps below.
- On the FordPass login screen, select Sign In.
- On the Sign In screen, select Forgot Password.
- Enter your email address and select Send Email.
- A confirmation screen will display confirming a mail has been sent, select Back To Login to return to the login screen.
- Go to your email and select Change Password.
- Enter your new password in the New Password field. Ensure your passwords meets all the criteria below:
- Between 8 and 64 characters long
- Cannot be the same as your email address or username
- At least one special character
- At least one number
- At least one upper-case and lower-case alphabet
- Passwords must match
- Confirm your new password in the Confirm Password field.
- Press the eyeball symbol to view your password and correct any errors.
- Tap Change Password.
- Return to the FordPass Login Screen and select Log In.
Note: Enter your email address and new password and select Sign In.
