How do I change my Ford app username?

You can change your Ford app username/email address within the app using the steps below.

Important: After changing your username, you will be logged out of the Ford app and will need to log back in using your new credentials (i.e., email address and password).

1. Open the Ford app.
2. Navigate to the Account screen.
3. Select Settings.
4. Tap Change Username.
   
   Note: You may receive a request to confirm your device's authentication code.
    
5. Type in your New Username, which is your email address.
6. Confirm your new username. 
7. Tap Send Code. 
   
   Note: A code will be sent as an email to your new email address.
    
8. Authenticate your new email address by entering the code into the Ford app Email Verification Code field.
   
   Important: You must enable your phone's security feature before you can proceed.
    
9. Tap Save.
