Using the Performance Shift Indicator

Like other Ford Performance products, the Ranger Raptor features a Performance Shift Indicator which can be enabled to both illuminate and sound a chime when a gear change is required (when you’re manually shifting via the paddle shifters). The point of the shift warning can also be customized.

To access the Performance Shift Indicator

If you want to enable the Performance Shift Indicator on your Ranger Raptor, go to Settings on the SYNC® screen¹, then select Performance Shift Indicator. From there, you’ll be able to ‘Enable’ it, or adjust the Shift Tone (the sound you hear when it’s time to change gear) and Shift Point (within a range: 4,000 – 6,500 rpm).
