Powered seat: If your Everest is equipped with powered seats, then finding the right seating position is simple. Look at the seat controls on the side of the seat cushion.

Locate the lever that looks like the base of the seat and then slide it forwards or backwards to adjust the seat. Raise or lower the lever to raise or lower the seat.

The lever that looks like a seat back controls the forwards and backwards movement of the seat back.

A small circle behind the seat back adjustment lever controls the lumbar support. To adjust the lumbar support simply press the forward part of the switch or the rearward part of the switch to activate the forward and backward travel of the lumbar support.

The head rest can be adjusted manually.

Depending on the market, some vehicles fitted with powered seats also offer a memory function on the driver’s seat which allows you to set the seating positions for three different people. The Memory Function consists of five buttons: One, Two, Three, Unlock and Lock. To save your own pre-set position:

Switch the ignition on
Adjust the memory features to your preferred position
Press and hold the preferred pre-set button until you hear a single tone

Some Everest variants offer heated and ventilated front seats. To turn on or off seat heating and/or ventilation, access the climate controls via SYNC® 4A. The vehicle must be running to use these features.

Press the heated seat symbol to cycle through the various heat settings and off. The more indicators that display, the warmer the temperature of the seat. To turn on the ventilated seats press the button that shows a seat with a fan above it. Keep pressing the button to cycle through the various ventilation settings and off. More indicator lights indicate higher fan speeds.
