1. How do I get an old vehicle report?
At Ford Motor Company, your satisfaction is important to us. We’re here to help.
Ford of Australia may be able to provide an Old Vehicle Report for your vehicle. If you would like to obtain a report on the specifications and features of your vehicle at the time of manufacture; please contact us at foacust1@ford.com. You may need to provide proof of ownership and ID for this information to be provided in writing.
The Radio Code is a security feature of your vehicle and is supplied to the original owner of new vehicles. If you need to obtain the Radio Code for your vehicle, you will need to visit your local Ford Dealer and provide proof of ownership for your vehicle. There may be a charge associated with this service.
To obtain a paint code for your vehicle, please contact our Ford Customer Relationship Centre at foacust1@ford.com and have your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) ready.
You are able to find your nearest Dealer by using our Dealer Locator.
To gain access to the full range of current Ford Vehicle brochures, please visit our Online Brochure page.
It is important that you complete the Change of Ownership form located at the back of the Owners' Manual and return it to Ford so that you can be contacted with information pertaining to your Ford vehicle in the future. If the Owners' Manual is not available contact your nearest Ford Dealer who can order a replacement manual on your behalf. Also, continue getting your car serviced according to the maintenance schedule in your Customer Assistance, Warranty and Service Guide. We would also recommend signing up to the Ford Australia Owner Dashboard where you may update your details and register for updates relating to your vehicle.
If you have received a communication from Ford or become aware through the media regarding a product Recall or Service Campaign which may affect your vehicle, please contact your Ford Dealer, or contact the Ford Customer Relationship Team on 13 FORD (13 3673).
The warranty period for all new Ford vehicles is 5 years/unlimited km for vehicles picked up from 1 May 2018, or 3 years/100,000km (whichever comes first) for vehicles picked up prior to 1 May 2018.*
For all Ford Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV) and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV), these are covered by the same Ford New Vehicle Warranty. The only difference is for the Electrical Drivetrain and Battery component, these are covered for 8 Years or 160,000 km (whichever occurs first).
If you have any questions about the timing of your warranty period, please contact your Ford Dealer or contact us at foacust1@ford.com.
Please contact your nearest Dealer for vehicle availability as they are in the best position to assist. You are able to find your nearest dealer by using our Dealer Locator.
