b) Critical information relating to any open Takata recall.

Your vehicle is installed with a faulty front driver and/or front passenger Takata airbag. As it gets older, a combination of high temperatures and humidity can affect airbags with the fault. If you are involved in a collision, the airbag can go off with too much explosive force causing sharp metal fragments to shoot out and kill or seriously injure people in the vehicle.

You should immediately contact a Ford dealer to arrange for the front driver and/or front passenger airbag or airbag inflator to be replaced.

Please take note that any replacement airbags installed in your vehicle following a collision or other incident may also be faulty. It is critical that you urgently contact a Ford dealer to arrange for the airbags to be checked and replaced, if faulty.
