Disabling Apple CarPlay Using SYNC 4

Follow the steps below to disable Apple CarPlay using your SYNC 4 system.

1. Tap Settings on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
2. Tap on the Phone List setting.
3. Select your iPhone from the list of devices.
4. Tap on Disable.

Note: Apple CarPlay may need to be disabled in order to use some Ford app functions.

Disabling Apple CarPlay Using SYNC 4A

Follow the steps below to disable Apple CarPlay using your SYNC 4A system.

1. Tap the Vehicle icon on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
2. Select Settings.
3. Tap Phone List.

4. Press Disable Apple CarPlay.
