How can I troubleshoot my Connectivity Settings?
Your in-vehicle Connectivity Screen contains toggles for Vehicle Connectivity and Location. Sometimes, it takes a while for the system to set itself. Toggling these menu items on and off a few times, ensures that the system is not stuck, which can cause activation issues.
Many issues caused by a connectivity setting error, can be fixed by reset and re-configuring connectivity settings. To do so, use the following steps:
- Access your vehicle, turn it on, and remain in park.
- Click Settings on your vehicle screen.
- Select Customer Connectivity Settings.
- Tap Vehicle Connectivity.
- Toggle the slide On (slide dot to the right) if it appears to be Off.
- Toggle the slide Off (slide dot to the left) if it appears to be On. Then toggle back On.
- Wait 30 seconds or so for the data arrows
to display in the top right-hand corner of your vehicle screen.
- Note: This icon shows that your modem is activated and connected vehicle data is being transmitted.
