Our Application Process

1. Online Application: All applicants are required to complete and submit an online application form. As well as providing information about your education, work experience and preferences you will also need to attach three key documents.

2. Online Psychometric Testing: Successful applicants will be invited via email to complete online psychometric tests throughout the recruitment process. We’ll also tell you where you can view practice questions and how to prepare to get the best results.

3. Video Interviewing: If you are successful at the online testing stage you will be invited to participate in an online video interview.

The interview works similar to Skype except that the interview is not live. You will answer a series of pre-recorded interview questions that will appear on the screen. A member of our recruitment team will later review and assess each video.

4. Assessment Centre: Upon successful completion of the video interview stage, you will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre (group interview) at a Ford site in Melbourne.

This will be your first opportunity to meet individuals from the Ford Australia team including HR representatives and senior managers. You will participate in both group and individual activities and have the opportunity to further your understand of our organisation and our culture.

5. Final Interview & Behavioural Profiling: The final stage of our recruitment process is an interview with Ford Australia representatives. Successful applicants will complete a behavioural based interview and will also have the opportunity to ask any questions that you have about Ford, our graduate program and the positions on offer.
